There is plenty to discover in Haarlemmermeer. Besides Schiphol Airport, our green polder (new land) and the Cruquius pumping station, there are many other fascinating places that are definitely worth a visit. Like the Geniedijk, a dyke with forts, part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam and placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, but also the Toolenburgerplas, an 85-ha lake area rich in diversity.
